Job Description
- To take an active / proactive part in implementation of the field operation organization to achieve optimum performance, controlling costs, having a clear interface towards all inter working units, having efficient routines and rules in place
- To have efficient and document routines, procedures with all concerned inter working units like different system support units, inter working operators, subcontractor, rollout units, planning and engineering units
- Responsible for the delivery of Managed Service Projects. Implement effective O & M processes, procedures and establish work standards to manage customers’ network effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure service levels are achieved as per agreed SLA to fulfill Company’s mission and customer requirements.
- To plans the activities and work schedules of the field personnel in accordance to ongoing projects and activates
- To give regular reporting of field maintenance performance and ensure operation and maintenance performance goals are met
- To coordinate and negotiate sub-contractor activities
- Responsible to coordinate regional field related activities and issues concerning to transmission, radio network and facility equipment.
- Interface to customers operation, marketing and sales team in implementing new services
Job Requirement and Working Experience
- Above three (3) years of working experience in telecommunication industry, preferably experience in operation and maintenance of Mobile network.
- Have vast experience in areas of Operation and Maintenance functions as HR planning, budgeting, process design, facility management and familiar with service functions.
- Have management exposure and preferably have past experience in managing a group of operation team
- Experience in setting up a new operation platform would be a added advantage
- Analytical skills in preparing reports and experience in project management.
- Knowledge of BSS network implementation, integration and Operations
- Good knowledge in access, Core and Transport Networks.
- Good knowledge of network performance / configuration parameters and their interpretation and use.
- Network Service performance focused
- Able to work as a member of team and lead subordinate staff.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Flexible and responsive to changing work patterns and demands.
- Result oriented, good skills in leading and motivation people. Excellent team player.
- Open approach to solving problems and dealing with new proposals.
- A thorough and methodical approach to work.
- Good knowledge of network operation process and interface high degree of analytical and investigative abilities
